Pistoia, a beautiful small town in Tuscany with a lot of historical monuments! This city is situated between Florence and Lucca. The centre is easy to reach and is accessible to pedestrians only. There are a lot of beautiful historical buildings. The Piazza Duomo with the cathedral San Zeno, the “bell tower” with its 200 steps and from where you have a beautiful view all over the town. The gothical Battisterium of San Giovanni in Corte, with its marble font. The old hospital “del Ceppo”, is from the XIII century; this hospital had an important role in 1349 when the city was affected by the placgue.
