The Montecatini Opera Festival is one of the major musical events in the city. The festival takes place under the patronage of the MIBACT and is dedicated to opera and classical music lovers. From April to October, the schedule includes numerous events set in the most fascinating locations of the Terme di Montecatini.
Among these is the beautiful historical hall of the Terme Excelsior, an authentic architectural gem and the ideal place to highlight the more intimate aspect of music, and the Terme Tettuccio, where the charm of Liberty style amplifies the melodic suggestions of the great Italian opera composers, who often chose this spa town as the perfect place to freely unleash their inspiration.
