The house where Leonardo was born is located in Anchiano, a few kilometres from the town of Vinci. The building, located in a picturesque hilly landscape, offers a permanent educational exhibition. The town of Vinci also offers snippets of Leonardo’s history and life.
The Leonardo Museum, housed in two buildings, traces the history of the architect, scientist and technologist. The museum recounts the life and works of the genius from Vinci, presenting the real Leonardo through his machines, his designs, his works and his life.
The Leonardo Library, a specialised documentation centre on Leonardo’s work and a point of reference for Italian and foreign scholars.
